I’m Paul,
an interaction designer.

This is a portfolio of my student work, including digital, print, and video pieces. Please take a look around.

I am currently a Senior Interaction Designer with Motorola's Consumer Experience Design Group in Chicago. I recently completed a Masters of Interaction Design at Carnegie Mellon University. I enjoy finding unique solutions to problems of all kinds.

I am especially interested in two areas of design theory: designing tools that allow people to design for themselves, and the interplay between design and product management.

I have worked on projects in many areas, including mass-market digital devices, web-based social networking, mobile interfaces, consumer software design, data visualization, medical service design, game design, and interactive advertising.

I also have a B.A. in Economics from Grinnell College in Iowa. I love music, travel, design theory, gadgets and good coffee.
